November 2022

DEA National Drug Take Back Day is a bi-annual event where anyone can surrender old prescription drugs.
Unused prescriptions around the house present a risk to youth and pets who may be tempted to abuse or get into them by accident. This event aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible, antonymous means of disposing of prescription drugs.
This bi-annual event is a partnership with the Cole County Sheriff's Department and Jefferson City Police Department.
Thank you to CDFY'S Board members Alicia Sparer and Caroline Burnett along with CDFY'S Staff Nicole Dennison Project Coordinator, Judy Brooks, Youth Committee member Isabel Crews, and everyone who volunteered in keeping our community safer!
