Opioid Summit - June 22nd, 2021 @ 11 AM
When it comes to addressing the worsening addiction crisis, we're stronger together! The Opioid Summit is a platform that was started in 2019 with stakeholders meeting to discuss next steps to help address the opioid crisis within Mid-Missouri.
CDFY will be hosting an Opioid Summit that will be held virtually via Zoom. This event is an opportunity to learn more about the opioid epidemic and be involved in addressing the addiction crisis.
The Opioid Summit is open for registration! There will be five breakout sessions, each focusing on a specific topic.
The groups are as follows:
1. Reducing Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome
2. Safe Storage and Disposal
3. Recovery Support
4. Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral to Treatment (SBIRT)
5. Youth Protective Factors and Prevention

The keynote speaker is Christine Smith, Department of Mental Health - Divisions of Behavioral Health, State Opioid Response (SOR) Grant Project Director.
