Project Coordinator
Council for Drug-Free Youth (CDFY) coordinates programs within Cole, Osage, Miller, Camden, Callaway, and Moniteau county schools.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Communication regarding Coalition Meetings, Student of the Month, and CDFY events

Works with the Executive Director and other personnel in meeting specific project objectives
-
Participates in prevention and project-related training, meetings, and forums
-
Meets regularly with Exec. Director to assess progress on a strategic action plan
-
Contributes to Capacity Building activities, including involvement or coordination with civic groups
-
Collaborates on publicity efforts and speaking engagements
-
Creates and coordinates events
-
Serves as liaison with schools and youth groups,
-
Travel to occasional events, meetings, and training which may be out of state
-
design, produce, and distribute marketing materials
-
conduct market research, and manage social media platforms
-
Assist with Peer-to-Peer Performance Program Directors

Communicate with businesses and organizations in the community
-
Assist in the coordination of grant-funded projects and events
-
Manage website and email marketing platforms.

Creating flyers and promotional materials
-
Coordinating youth events and committees
-
Other tasks as assigned by Executive Director
Supervisor relationships: The Project Coordinator reports to the Executive Director
Hours per day or week: 40 hours per week
