Megan Walton
Peer-to-peer Co-Director
Megan has worked in the performing arts, hospitality, and education fields. She is so excited to work with CDFY to encourage a drug-free lifestyle. She is motivated to help students learn about healthy habits and mental awareness to help them become the best versions of themselves.

Kira Rutter
Peer-to-peer Director
Kira Rutter spent most of her childhood in Jefferson City, moving back as an adult to grow her family. She has a bachelor's degree in Theatre Education (K-12) from Brigham Young University and a Masters in Business Administration from William Woods University. She also served with the federal Americorp program Teach for America providing an equitable education to youth across America. She is currently the owner and director of Muse Theatre Company’s Itsy Bitsy Broadway Children’s Theater and the CDFY performance director of Safety Kids, Show Me Players and UPLIFT. She participated in CDFY’s Show Me Players program as a youth herself and is passionate about the importance of giving children the confidence to make good choices and build a drug free future for themselves, their friends, their family and their community. Kira is the mother of four boys who are all excited to grow up and perform with CDFY as Safety Kids soon enough!

Jessica Cayou
Peer-to-peer Co-Director
Jessica Cayou has worked for the last 5 years at Itsy Bitsy Broadway, a children’s learning theatre. She enjoys working with kids and watching them have fun and grow in confidence through theatre. As an assistant director for Safety Kids, Show Me Players, and Uplift she looks forward to combining her love of theatre with the opportunity to help children and young adults learn about the dangers of drugs and alcohol and the benefits in living a drug free life.
